When we found the cave we now call Lascaux, in France, we learned two thing. Not only have we making art for as long as we've been humans, it's art itself what makes us human. Art isn't optional.
Philadelphia Contemporary wanted their website to reflect their mission: "…connect the people and places of Philadelphia through art…". Lines connecting seemingly independent components was the idea we had to accomplish this. You can find this idea on every page.
